Street Styles We Loved This Fall

This autumn we saw some of our favorite summer looks make their way into the chilly season. Now that the holidays are approaching, it only feels right to recap some of the styles we fell for this fall.

Natural glam

What were our go-to beauty looks? We embraced the au naturale by blending a soft brown eyeshadow into our lids and smearing a simple clear gloss on our lips. A touch of mascara and well-groomed brows added just enough polish to our glam. Aside from saving us time, this makeup method directed the attention away from our faces and onto our outfits, allowing us to channel our energy solely into our closets.

Stand-out shades

And our color palette of choice? Our love for brown returned as it always does, but a vibrant neo-mint shade kept us feeling fresh. We even added the hue to our lower lash lines to give our subtle makeup looks a pop of pizazz. We also gravitated towards an attention-grabbing yellow that took our all-black New York uniform from basic to bold.

Little Black Dress

Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel gifted us with this little black beauty, and ever since then, it has been a year ‘round go-to for fashion lovers everywhere. We amped up this wardrobe staple with edgy accessories like chain link belts.

staying cozy

Of course, we remembered the best part of fall fashion—burying ourselves in comfy sweaters! We even experimented with classic silhouettes by pairing larger knits with mini dresses. When the temperature started to drop, we edited this ensemble by adding warm leggings and oversized coats.

animal instinct

Animal print and blue jeans are the perfect match, and we were living for the combo this season. Specifically, we were filling our closets to the brim with button-downs that we styled in all kinds of ways. In particular, we loved the “French tuck” where only half of the front of the blouse was tucked into our jeans.

And we couldn’t forget to add our converse, or in this case, our Comme des Garçons.

Jeans are typically a fall go-to, but this season, we changed them up a bit by cropping them with a pinroll. We then took to styling them with tube socks for an added surprise. Aside from the style points, the socks kept us warm as we waved goodbye to the warmer months.

all in the details

We remembered that the easiest way to elevate an outfit is by styling our hair. This season, we fell in love with summer-inspired beach curls and high ponytails—two carefree looks that take little time but never fail to look chic.
