Quick Carpet Coverage: THE EMMYS 2019
Ahead of the 71st Primetime Emmy Awards, television actors walked down the E! News red carpet. As they paraded in luxurious gowns, one after another, a few stand-outs caught our eye. Here are some of the best-dressed celebs of the night.
Wearing a voluminous Monsoori gown and propping a custom Edie Parker clutch, Laverne Cox had an important message to share with viewers. Cox brought Chase Strangio from the ACLU to bring attention to the Oct. 8 vote for the Title VII bill that deals with LGBTQ+ rights in the workplace.
The Lead Actress in a Comedy Series nominee glided down the Red Carpet in her effortlessly ethereal dress. Phoebe Walter-Bridge wore a Monique Lhuillier creation with tons of tulle and bespoke beading.
Regina King dazzled in an airy mint blue dress. The hue was a popular trend throughout the night. The illusion high heel complimented her custom Jason Wu gown’s shoulder detail, adding a delicate touch to the look.
Rachel Brosnahan, best known for her lead role in Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, was equally as stylish as her 1950s character. She shimmered in a blue metallic Ellie Saab pick with sleek lines and asymmetrical details.
The Euphoria actress donned a Poison Ivy-inspired gown by Alexander Wang. Zendaya closed out the Red Carpet in a big way in this emerald skin-flaunting showstopper.
