New Nails, Just Got ’Em

Do you ever consider nails to be an accessory? When you think about it, they actually are. Having your nails done can really contribute to your look, and can even present to the world that you have your life together by making it a priority to get them done. Whenever there’s a new season coming, or an event you’re attending, it’s a must to have your nails done and make sure they stand out or that they at least go with your outfit.

Having your nails done is one of the best ways to get personal and showcase your style. With nails, you can really get artistic and just have fun with it. To me, nails are not about having neutral tones all the time—it’s about wearing the colors you wouldn’t wear in your outfits, but instead wearing them on your nails to spunk up your look. The pictures I am including showcase extreme nail art that can be shown off more than your whole outfit put together.

Extremely creative nail art can be a big conversation starter, as it is eye catching and almost like a statement piece. You wouldn’t need to accessorize heavily with rings when you have popping nail art that can take over as one of your main accessories for the day. The pictures of the nail art shown above would work really well with a neutral toned outfit, or if you have a job where you can only wear all black and your nails are the only place you can get crazy and personal.

I asked my friend what was her favorite way to accessorize and she asked, “Does nail polish count as an accessory?” I had to think about that for a second, but then said “Yeah, sure!”. It definitely is something I never considered, but realized is the ultimate accessory. Next time you go and get your nails done, think about how your nail look can be a statement piece within your outfit, while still being personal to your style. You might realize that nail art is your ultimate accessory.
