Eat the Menu

“Food is the way to my heart,” cliché, I know, but most of the time its true. And for those of us lucky enough to live in the areas surrounding New York City, we have a wide variety of food to choose from, and for that we should each be thankful. From eggs benedict to dim sum to tacos and empanadas, in only a day your menu can be vast, and by the end of the week, even vaster. In this curation of photos I showcase the range of eateries at our disposable here in the New York City area, including more than a few local favorites throughout New Jersey. I ate my way through the selection, putting the spotlight on my personal favorites: a mixture of home cooked meals—not many, to be honest, but who really has the time to cook anymore, small town cafes, and big city gems. And while I have no technical experience in photography or photo editing, I aimed at capturing just how delicious each of these dishes were in reality; I hope you aren’t hungry because you may be after.
