A Dreamy Haze

What started out as my senior capstone project soon became a passion project. I had aimed for a project that showcased my love for my hometown, Los Angeles. My plans quickly changed due to COVID-19 and I had to scramble to find a new project. To be completely honest, I lost all motivation to continue. I had no motivation to attend my Zoom classes, finish my assignments, and to think of a new idea for my project. I expressed my lack of confidence to my professor John Deming. I found that I was keeping all of my emotions and thoughts to myself that when I finally spoke on it, I quickly found the creative spark I had lost. So, I grabbed my friend and we had a spontaneous photo shoot in her backyard. We had little to no props, but went for it. These photographs really encapsulate my love for photography and brought back my creative spark in the midst of all of this.
