Photo Series: Where is My Mind?

We all live in our own heads, letting emotions come and go. Sometimes our emotions can make us feel euphoric like we’re throwing a party, dancing in our heads. A party that we can embrace who we are in all of our fullness. Other times, emotions can be heavier. We can feel like we’re drowning in our negative thoughts.

This series explores these states of mind. With inspiration from songs by the music artist Fred again…. I constructed visual representations of the lyrics and feelings the beats provide to the listener. I find that we can embrace the heaviness and embody what makes us a party.
