Almost everyone can agree that Prada can do no wrong—Miuccia Prada has become an icon in her own right and the brand has achieved cult status over the years. In particular, the brand’s coats have become high fashion moments worthy of praise. From the 90s “ugly” printed trenches and jackets to the SS 2020 embellished coat to Amanda Gorman’s sunshine yellow ensemble, Miuccia always goes beyond the expected and gives the world what it needs.

This season was no different. While the rest of the collection has questionable moments of being straight up ugly instead of its requisite “ugly-chic”, the coats made a huge splash. From faux fur to nylon to plaid to peacoats, the union of Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada has started to find its groove. The collection’s outerwear was a reimagining of classic Prada looks with a mixture of “Raf-ness” and “Prada-ness.” Every aspiring Prada girl, myself included, will do just about anything to get their hands on any one of them. Here are the quintessential coats from the Fall Winter 2021 collection.

As for the future collections? There will always be a drool-worthy coat gracing the Prada catwalk. Whether in Re-nylon, faux fur, plaid, or “ugly-chic” printed attire, even the devil herself couldn’t say no to a good Prada outwear piece.
