Let’s Talk About How Underrated Khalid Is

We are always looking for ways to connect with our favorite artists and discover new music, and in the midst of a pandemic, we are trying harder than ever. If you're anything like me and get bored of listening to the same Spotify playlist every day for hours on end, I am here to save the day. Khalid is an underrated artist who has something for everyone to enjoy no matter their mood. Khalid constantly connects with his fans on Instagram to show off his unique, trendy outfits and announce new music releases.

Khalid first gained a following when he released his R&B hit songs “Young Dumb & Broke,” and  “Location” in 2016. These songs took over the radio just a few months after he graduated high school and became the soundtrack to Summer ‘16. Since then, he has used his lyrics as a way to connect with others by telling stories of his life.

Khalid has two full R&B albums: American Teen and Free Spirit, which have taken over my Spotify playlists since they first came out. American Teen, his debut album, was released in 2017, and Free Spirit was released in 2019. With Free Spirit, Khalid released singles in which he collaborated with top artists such as Halsey, A Boogie, Disclosure, and Normani.

However, Khalid has no plans of stopping here. He plans on giving fans more songs to add to their favorite playlists, and according to a recent Instagram post, this new music is coming very soon!
