How to Accessorize Based Off Your Favorite Euphoria Character

It’s that time again everyone. Your favorite show is back—and possibly better than ever. There are several reasons why we all fell in love with Euphoria when it first came out in 2019, with its fashion and glamorous makeup looks possibly being the main one. Most of us are still as obsessed as we were when we first saw Alexa Demie grace us with her iconic I.AM.GIA outfit and 90s’ inspired makeup, and are still looking for ways to bring that Euphoria vibe to our own looks. So without further ado, here is how you can accessorize your outfits based on your favorite character.

RUE BENNETt

If Rue is your favorite character, then you’re probably a minimalist when it comes to accessories and fashion in general. Even though Rue is not the fashionista of the show, she still has her moments. According to Rue, all you need to properly accessorize is a pair of sunglasses and a natural hair and makeup combination to get you through anything. You should also switch out your plain-old oversized jacket for something vintage and metallic, especially if (and when) you're going to a party. Of course, the occasional glittery eye makeup can be worn with a slightly more put-together look.

Jules Vaughn

Jules is probably the most experimental out of all the other characters when it comes to her looks. Her fits always give K-Pop meets E-Girl—in all the best ways. If she is your favorite character, then you are most likely into this aesthetic. Jules pro-tip: mini backpacks are way cooler and much more stylish than any normal-sized backpack. Getting one in a pastel color would definitely give off that signature Jules look. Another way to accessorize like Jules is by layering on several cute statement chokers.

Fezco

Fezco is the character in Euphoria that we never knew we needed. He is laid back, funny, and super caring, especially when it comes to protecting those in his circle. So if Fez is your favorite character, you might be interested in hip-hop culture, streetwear, and boss-like comfort when it comes to choosing a fit. All you really need is a gold chain or two, color-blocked polo’s, and of course, classic sneakers to fit that streetwear aesthetic.

Maddy Perez

Maddy, AKA the fashion icon of the show, has the boldest and baddest looks out of all the characters. She tackles the 90s’ and early 2000s’ vibe with her makeup and outfits. Spoiler: if you haven’t watched the first episode of season two yet, just know that Maddy’s look was stunning. If she is your favorite character, you are definitely into fashion and makeup and have an eye for all things Y2K. To accessorize according to Maddy, small bags and purses instead of backpacks are always a must, as well as long acrylic nails. Wear some mid-size hoop earrings, a nameplate necklace, and don’t forget the killer 90s’ lip.

CASSIE HOWARD

Cassie is the seemingly sweet and innocent, yet most adventurous one out of the female characters. She is almost always wearing either pink or blue, which paints the picture of a soft girl. Like Rue, she is a tad minimalistic, but much more into dressing up. If your favorite character is Cassie, keep your makeup looks subtle, yet still cute enough to make a statement. Curly, bouncy hair is definitely the way to go when choosing what hairstyle rock, and of course, wearing any shade of blue, a small pair of hoop earrings, and a dainty necklace are musts.

ASH/Ashtray

Ash, Fez’s little brother and business partner, is not only the youngest character in the show, but he is also definitely one of the boldest as far as attitude and personality. Just like Fez, if he is your favorite character then you must have a love for hip-hop culture and streetwear, as well as an obsession with brands such as Nike. To accessorize like Ash, all you need is a gold chain, a white tank top or muscle tee, a pair of Jordan’s, and maybe a couple of face tattoos, but those are totally optional.

Kat Hernandez

Right off the bat, Kat’s style was the quickest to change at the beginning of season one and I personally am not mad about it. She is just as bold as Maddy when it comes to her fashion choices, but with a much more goth/alternative twist. I predict that in season two we might be seeing another shift in Kat’s style as the character further develops. If Kat is your favorite character out of the bunch, make sure to add lots of leather and chokers to your wardrobe, as well as a harness style corset, a bold red lip, and a sleek straight hairdo.

LEXI howard

source: Pinterest, we heart it , & RADIO times

Lexi is definitely one of my favorite characters, apart from Rue and Maddy. She tends to stay out of the mix for the most part and does not seem to be focused on a relationship. Like Rue and her sister Cassie, her style is a bit more toned down and realistic for a high school student. If Lexi is your favorite character, you probably adore that clean, sophisticated, and slightly conservative look. Dainty jewelry is a must, as well as a subtle color palette and minimal makeup. A striking red lip to make a statement is also a good way to add a bit of Lexi to your look.

Now that season two is finally here we can surely expect much more from these characters and their looks. After the success of the first episode, there is no doubt that Euphoria fans all over the world are excited to see what comes next, myself included. I cannot wait to see what looks they pull together for all of the returning and new characters this season. If you do not have a favorite character already, peruse through this article and choose which best fits you and how you can implement them into your style when accessorizing.
