How to Style 5 Pantone Spring 2022 Colors

With the Spring Equinox occurring a couple of weeks ago, we need to start getting our spring wardrobe in order. While that task may be daunting for some, I’m here to make it easy for you and show you some high and low options based on Pantone’s spring 2022 colors.

Last fall, along with announcing Very Peri as the Color of The Year for 2022, Pantone also announced their spring color predictions. I’ll show you how to style Pantone’s Innuendo, Glacier Lake, Daffodil, and Basil, but check out Pantone’s Very Peri on the runway for A/W 22’ RTW collections and how they chose the color.

First up is Innuendo—a fiery hot pink. Perfect for a going-out look in the height of spring! A hot pink asymmetrical skirt is great when paired with white, strappy sandals and a white one-shoulder top to continue the asymmetrical style. Compliment the color by pairing it with a hot pink or pastel pink clutch.

Next is Pantone’s Glacier Lake, a soft sky blue. Every spring wardrobe needs a light pair of pants to make the transition easy from cold to warm weather. With dress pants being worn even outside the office, these are a must for the perfect monochromatic look. If you want to wear them to the office, style these slacks with baby blue closed-toe heels and a satin cropped, T-shirt blouse. Finish the business look with the matching blazer. You can also create an out-of-office look by wearing your favorite platform sneakers with an oversized cut-off T-shirt. You can keep this look monochrome as well, or go for a bold print T-shirt with a sneaker to match.

The idea of spring always brings flowers to mind, so Pantone’s Daffodil had to be on this list, it’s a bright yellow that screams spring! Grab your tie-heeled sandals again, but instead, style this dress with a cream shrug to endure that spring breeze for the perfect brunch look. Or wear a pair of platform boots during those April showers, with a denim duster or jacket for a casual but cute day look.

Our final Pantone color is Basil, a muted green. It’s a part of Pantone’s classic spring colors for 2022. This color is timeless, so why not style a timeless matching sweater set. Either stay true to the classic style being monochrome again or play around with a checker print pattern. Pair this set with gold and white accessories; gold jewelry with a white handbag and white loafers. A set always makes it easy to style, and a sweater mini skirt is perfect for spring.
