NBA Teams To Look Out For This Season

As the courtside buzz of basketball arenas returns and the sound of sneakers squeaking on the hardwood fills the air, the 2023 NBA season promises to be a thrilling spectacle. The NBA has been a center of competition, showcasing the world's best basketball talent, and this season is no exception.

The season is set to captivate fans with its fast-paced action and dazzling displays of skill. Join us as we take a closer look at four NBA teams that are primed to steal the spotlight and leave their mark on the 2023/24 season.

Denver Nuggets (Reigning Champions)

The Denver Nuggets are the Reigning Champions. During last season, they demonstrated excellent teamwork. Their style of play was appreciated by many. Nikola Jokic, who is a two-time NBA MVP, is recognized as the world’s best player. He has the ability to utilize the entire team on a night-to-night basis to determine Denver’s fate.

The Nuggets lost key cogs via free agency in Bruce Brown and Jeff Green. So, they’ll need even more from role players such as Christian Braun, Reggie Jackson, Peyton Watson, Justin Holiday and Zeke Nnaji

Whether you’re a fan of star power, interested in seeing how new players integrate into a team, or just love good basketball, the Nuggets are definitely a team to keep an eye on this season!

Milwaukee Bucks

The Bucks have the best duo in the league with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard. Damian Lillard, the high-scoring Portland guard, gets to chase the championship he could not bring to the Trail Blazers, while easing some of the Greek Freak’s workload and responsibility. This is Damian Lillard’s most talented team thus far.

With the new coach, Adrian Griffin, the Bucks have big hopes this season. Adrian Griffin takes over for Mike Budenholzer, earning his promotion after 15 years as an NBA assistant. Milwaukee has one of the least taxing schedules in the NBA. Positive Residual gives the Bucks the fourth-lowest strength of schedule, and they travel the fourth-fewest miles this season.

Whether you’re interested in seeing how a new coach can make a difference, or just love good basketball, the Milwaukee Bucks are definitely a team to watch this season!

Golden State Warriors

The Warriors are led by Stephen Curry, who is recognized as one of the best players in the NBA. They also landed Chris Paul in a blockbuster trade. These two players are a formidable duo that can compete with the best in the league.

The Warriors have added several new players to their roster, including Dario Šarić and Cory Joseph. They picked up two players on draft night, Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis.

If Stephen Curry and Chris Paul can stay healthy, there’s no reason the Warriors shouldn’t go deep into the postseason. The surrounding talent is arguably better than last season, when the team reached the Western Conference Finals.

Los Angeles Lakers

The Lakers have a deep roster with a variety of skill sets that can serve them well over the course of an 82-game campaign. They have multiple forwards and big men who can complement and supplement their superstar duo of LeBron and Anthony Davis.

The Lakers have added several new players to their roster, including Austin Reaves, Gabe Vincent, Christian Wood, Jaxson Hayes, and Taurean Prince, all of whom should be solid rotational players.

If LeBron James can remain a top-10 player and Anthony Davis stays healthy, there’s no reason the Lakers shouldn’t go far in the 2023/24 season.
