Zodiac Playlists: Scorpio

Scorpios, your time has come. October 23 kicked off Scorpio season and it will finish November 22. Scorpio is a fixed water sign and is represented by, you guessed it, a scorpion.

“Life is a game of chess for these calculating water signs, who are constantly plotting several steps ahead in order to orchestrate an eventual checkmate,” says astrologer, Aliza Kelly for Allure

To honor this powerful time of year, we’ve compiled a playlist of some of the biggest hits from artists with a Scorpio sun, as well as some songs with an edgy Scorpio vibe.

Artists with a Scorpio sun

Kerry Ward says in Cosmopolitan magazine that Scorpios are “strong, enigmatic and independent characters who crackle with an intensity and charisma that makes them un-ignorable.” All of these artists fit the bill and are alluring and respected musicians that we can’t help but love.

This playlist has a wide array of artists and genres, all of whom have their sun in Scorpio. Classics like The Eagles’ “Hotel California” and “Both Sides Now” by Joni Mitchell appeal to those looking for that throwback vibe.

There are also techno beats from David Guetta’s “Titanium (feat. Sia)” and Icona Pop’s timeless hit “I Love It (feat. Charli XCX)”. Some of my favorites include “Hard Feelings/Loveless” by Lorde and “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” by Abba.

There are many Scorpio artists, so this playlist is for you if you want to be surprised at every turn.

Scorpio season vibes

Scorpio season is all about boldly embracing change as it comes. New beginnings mark this time as people embark on new journeys in their lives. It is important to strengthen your personal relationships throughout this season. However, Scorpios are infamous for their ability to hold grudges so it is important to be flexible in this turbulent time.

Sit back, relax, and do some soul-searching while listening to this Scorpio-inspired playlist. With a mix of pop, indie, rap, and rock hits, there is sure to be something for everyone.

We start with Hozier’s “Take Me To Church”, a call out to Scorpio’s magnetic energy, followed by Doja Cat’s hit “Paint The Town Red”.

Scorpios are well-known for being a bit jealous sometimes. Songs like Olivia Rodrigo’s “jealousy, jealously” and “Black Widow” by Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora perfectly capture this energy.

If you’re in the mood for a more chill vibe, “Young and Beautiful” by Lana Del Rey or “Halloween” by Phoebe Bridgers might be the move for you.

Even if you don’t have a Scorpio placement in your chart, celebrate this season and channel your inner Scorpio by exuding confident and powerful energy. Set some goals for this month and strive for the best version of yourself. Happy Scorpio season!
