Baseball Beats: The New York Yankees 2024 Walk-Up Songs

Baseball is back and already in its fifth week. Walk-up songs are more widely known in the WWE, but the MLB also highlights walkout songs when players go up to bat.

The New York Yankees have a wide range of songs on their walk-up playlist, but each song seems to match the players to a tee.

If you want to feel the power the Yankees feel when stepping out into “the house that Ruth built” this playlist is perfect for you.

The New York Yankees 2024 Walk-up Playlist

Starting strong with Juan Soto’s choice, “Empire State of Mind” by JAY-Z. There is no better song for a first-year Yankee, with lyrics that say “Big lights will inspire you, let’s hear it for New York.” Aaron Judge follows that song choice with the song “Swag Surfin’” by F.L.Y. The hip-hop/rap track is a high-energy choice for the captain in his 9th season.

A song that sticks out from the rest is Anthony Volpe’s choice, “Where You Are” by John Summit and Hayla. This track is classified as a dance/electronic track, differing from his teammates' Hip-Hop and Latin Trap track choices. If you enjoy listening to house music, Volpe’s track is for you, but if not, Oswald Peraza has you covered with Bad Bunny's track, “Neverita.”

No matter what your taste is, this playlist will make you feel the same energy the Yankees do when walking up to bat.
