It's All in the Details
Accessorizing doesn’t always have to be bold and in your face, sometimes it’s the things only you notice that make a piece so special.

Sometimes when we think “accessory,” we think of statement belts and big earrings. But we often forget that accessorizing is a very personal affair. It’s not what others can see that makes an outfit. it’s those small details you add that make you feel like you.
Here are some of my favorite ways to accessorize your everyday outfits low-key with a small, personal and detailed touch.
Fun Socks
I absolutely LOVE a fun sock. It can be as silly or serious as you want because most of the time, you’re the only one who can see them. I think socks are a great way to incorporate a “good luck charm” into your day. First day of school? Pencil socks. Date night? Wine socks. Going to the zoo? Banana socks. It’s a fun way we can bring out our personality all while remaining oh-so professional.
Stud Earrings
People underestimate how fun a stud earring can be. Yes, big, dangly, colorful earrings are amazing, but sometimes we want something a little less heavy and bold. There are so many small but detailed earrings out there; the possibilities are endless. You could have a small stud of your birthstone, favorite animal, good luck shape, whatever you want!
Nail Gems
This is one of my favorites. As someone who always likes to have her nails done but doesn’t always have it in her budget, nail gems or stickers are such a cool and fun alternative. You can go for colorful like the gems in this picture or get classic silver or gold. And the best part is they look good on all nail lengths! It’s such a fun way to elevate or match your outfit.

Anklets
Anklets are just so chic, and we need to remember they’re not just for summertime. I have a rose quartz anklet I’ve been wearing daily, and it makes me so happy when I look down and get a peek at it. It’s such a small detail that many might not notice at all, but when you do catch a glimpse of it, it’s to die for.
Pins and Buttons
I am a big fan of pins, especially the ones that really give a taste of someone’s personality. Pins and buttons are so easy to clip onto a daily bag, a shirt sleeve or a back pocket even. You don’t need a large amount of them either, in fact you truly only need one. It’s a small way to get your personality to shine through your outfit without being too flashy.
When it comes to accessorizing, there are no wrong answers. Small, meaningful pieces are just as integral to an outfit as those bright shoes and patterned handbags. It’s all about finding what makes you feel good and ready for whatever task the day holds.
