Accessories You Need to Achieve A Snow-Girl Aesthetic This Winter

Winter is quickly creeping up on us. With colder weather comes thicker sweaters, comfier sweatpants, and overall cozy attire, including accessories. We all know that a cozy outfit is never complete without a knitted scarf or big pair of earmuffs to keep us from freezing on those nippy days. Lately, white monochrome outfits for the winter have been all over my Pinterest feed and I am here for it. If you are just as into it as I am, here are some of the accessories you should get to achieve a snow-girl aesthetic for this upcoming winter season.

EARMUFFS

Earmuffs are an accessory that nobody enjoys wearing for a long period of time, but love for styling purposes! Having a pair of all-white earmuffs in your closet this winter will not only help you with your snow-girl aesthetic, but they will keep you warm if you’re not a hat person. You can wear earmuffs with almost anything since it is an accessory that can easily be dressed up or down. Obviously, wearing all white would be the perfect way to get into the winter vibe, but earmuffs go well with any color palette! You can find this adorable accessory anywhere from your local 99 cent store, to Amazon, and even Zara.

FUR HATS

Hats are essential for cold weather, even though they mess with your hair at times. Fur hats, in particular, are one of the key elements to a snow-girl aesthetic. This is mostly because fur hats make it look as though you’re actually wearing snow. They are also super warm and give an extra “oomph” to any basic winter outfit. These fur hats can be worn with anything from a matching fur coat and glove ensemble, to a simple sweatsuit and Ugg look. You can find these hats at your local thrift stores, department stores, and online retailers such as Amazon and eBay.

FUR JACKETs/Coats

A statement coat or a jacket definitely counts as an accessory, especially when it is being worn for pictures or simply acting as the finishing touch to a “not-so-cold” weather-appropriate outfit. White fur jackets are absolutely a necessity for this season. There are so many different types of coats to choose from, whether it be a cute afghan coat or a fluffy faux fur jacket. Just like the previous accessories mentioned, these coats can be styled with practically anything—as long as it’s keeping you warm of course! Try looking for one of these jackets at your local thrift stores, and if you are not into thrifting, I.AM.GIA, Amazon, and other retailers have them on their websites.

ARM & LEG WARMERS

Arm and leg warmers have been around for quite some time, but recently they have made a huge comeback in the industry. They are seen being worn on and off the runway. I saved these for last because they are a must-have accessory to achieve the snow-girl aesthetic this winter. Arm and leg warmers are super versatile accessories. Leg warmers can and should be worn with any classic winter boots. On the other hand, arm warmers can be layered over a plain long-sleeve or even an ugly Christmas sweater. You can buy leg and arm warmers in-store or online, or you can even make them yourself out of old sweaters and socks!

Now that you have the perfect accessory guide to achieving the snow-girl aesthetic, you should be all set for this winter season. If you have to go out and buy some of these accessories—treat yourself! You can use all of these options for years and brutal winters to come, so it is absolutely worth the cost. I personally cannot wait for the first snowfall so that I can gear up in my Eskimo-inspired attire and take some Insta-worthy pics, even if I freeze in the process.
