The Perfect Spring Date Ideas

I’m not sure if there’s anything better than the combination of love and spring. With the warmer weather comes new beginnings—and new date ideas as well. Whether you’re madly in love, wanting to go on a date with your friends, or looking to take yourself out, here are some perfect options for you to try out this spring.

1. Picnic

There’s no way you’re surprised I included this, but can you blame me? Picnics are one of the best things to do during the springtime. You’ll get some fresh air, eat some good food, and enjoy the company of your partner. What more could you want?

2. Botanical Garden

If you’ve never visited a botanical garden before, there is no better time than spring to go explore one. There are plenty of gardens sprinkled throughout different cities that each offer their own unique experience. You’ll enjoy the blooming of the flowers and your blooming relationship, of course.

3. Visit a Vineyard or Winery

Obviously, you have to be 21+ for this one, but if you’re a wine lover, this may be the perfect date for you.

Go visit a vineyard near you—I can almost guarantee you should be able to find one. Depending on your choice of vineyard or winery, you can experience the different stages of winemaking as well as sample some of the locations best.

Whether it’s close by, or you have to make a little road trip out of it, have fun getting tipsy with your partner.

4. Outdoor Shopping

Spring is the perfect time to hit up that outdoor outlet mall you say you’ll always go to. If you live in New York City, heading to SoHo or going thrifting in Brooklyn may be the perfect date for you. This one works well if it’s a little cooler as well because you’ll be walking in and out of stores.

For those warmer weekends, you can also hit up your local farmers’ market to stock up on fresh foods and explore each of the market’s unique booths. Maybe even surprise your partner with purchasing a little gift for them while you shop.

5. Visit a Museum

Just in case you want something indoors, take a trip to a museum near you. Whether is a small installation or a vast museum like the MoMA, take in some art while you build your bond with that special someone.
