The Best Accessorized Celebrities at the 2022 Met Gala

The most highly anticipated day in fashion has arrived—the Met Gala. This year’s theme was Gilded Glamour and the looks were filled with glamour, to say the least. And the way some of the guests accessorized their looks was, even more, Met Gala appropriate.

Here are our picks for the best-accessorized celebrities at the 2022 Met Gala.

Bella Hadid In Burberry

Bella Hadid was a beauty in black for yesterday’s event. She wore a stunning Burberry corseted dress, with draped sleeves, mesh gloves, lace tights, and a pearl anklet and earrings that were very Gilded- Age appropriate.

CARA delevingne in Dior haute couture

Cara Delevingne did not disappoint at the 2022 Met Gala with a Dior Haute Couture look. She kept the accessories simple, yet out of the box with a layered gold chain necklace and Downton Abbey- esque cane.

ROSAlÍa in Givenchy

Rosalía’s look was definitely unexpected—in a good way. The Givenchy dress was so detailed that she kept the accessories simple and modern by adding some sporty black sunglasses. She also wore a small, yet statement, pair of silver earrings and some white mesh gloves—so chic.

CARDI B IN VERSACE

Cardi B’s look was hands down gorgeous, in every possible way. Not only did she show up with Donatella Versace, but she also showed out in Versace. Her accessories were, obviously, dripping in gold. She took the chain trend to a whole new level, and we are absolutely not mad about it.

EMMA CORRIN IN MIU MIU

Emma Corrin definitely took some chances with this look, and honestly, they were not all bad. The top hat was a nice touch, as well as the pocket-watch and 1800’s inspired shoes. Her look was designed by Miu Miu.

JASMINE TOOKES IN Zuhair Murad

Jasmine Tookes served us Gilded-Glamour-ready last night, and we ate it up. She was dressed in Zuhair Murad and accessorized her gorgeous emerald-green gown with lace-mesh gloves, a matching emerald green diamond pendant necklace, and a feather hair clip that finished the look off.

LENNY KRAVITZ

At this point, we can always expect Lenny Kravitz to show up wearing some sort of leather on his person—no judgment there. He accessorized his leather-meets-glamour look with a mesh corset and a layered pearl choker.

Anitta in Moschino

Anitta brought regal to the Met Gala with a stunning royal purple Moschino dress that was draped with pearls around the top. She decided to keep up the pearl theme by accessorizing her look with a dainty pair of pearl earrings and a layered diamanté necklace.

SARAH JESSICA PARKEr in Christopher john Rodgers

Sarah Jessica Parker walked the Met Gala red carpet and left absolutely no crumbs behind. She wore a stunning Christopher John Rodgers dress and accessorized with an overly dramatic, but very necessary hat. A Met Gala veteran if you will, SPJ showed us how executing a theme is done.

Laura Harrier In H&M

Arguably one of the best looks of the night, Laura Harrier was literally giving—in all the right ways. What surprised many people was the designer she wore, H&M. She accessorized the gown with some black velvet gloves, a layered and multi-colored pearl necklace, pearl earrings, and some hair clips to slick that hair back.

Ashton Sanders in Casablanca

This look was also a contender for the best look of the night with his Casablanca ensemble, no questions asked. Ashton Sanders went off with this theme. His accessories were perfect, a pair of gold fingerless motorcycle gloves, and some killer gold spectacles.

BLAKE LIVELY IN ATELIER VERSACE

We decided to save the best for last. Co-host of the night Blake Lively came dressed to impress, and then some. Her Atelier Versace dress was an ode to the Statue of Liberty, so of course, her accessories had to fit the same bill. She wore long satin gloves, dangly earrings in the same colors, and a very Lady Liberty tiara.

This year’s Met Gala was one to remember. The looks, the moments, the theme, basically everything was beyond satisfactory. There were well over 200 guests at yesterday’s event, but these are just some of our favorite and best-accessorized celebrities at the Gilded Glamour-themed Met Gala.
