Paris Fashion Week 2023: An Evolution of Tradition

From September 25 to October 3, the French fashion capital welcomed the world's most luxurious designers to showcase their ready-to-wear collections for Spring/Summer 2024. While all designers showcased unique looks, the brands made sure to remain in touch with their traditions.

The most desired pieces

From Chanel to Hermès, Paris got a glimpse into what the Spring/Summer 2024 season has to offer. While Hermès presented a collection that underlines spring turning into summer, Chanel introduced a French summer aesthetic to Fashion Week. Chloé, on the other hand, focused on the contrast of black and white and an abundance of leather.

Innovative Accessories

Pure Femininity

Chloé's new 'Blooma' jewelry collection debuted during the PFW show.

Continuing the fashion house's feminine designs, Blooma showcased many luxurious earrings, bracelets, and pendants inspired by flowers and nature.

Versatile handbags

Loewe presented a variety of practical handbags in all shapes and sizes.

Honoring Westwood

Designer Andreas Kronthaler paid homage to late designer Vivienne Westwood in the brand's show. Some references to the British designer's iconic looks were seen on the runway, such as a dress inspired by her “Le Flou Taille” back in 2003. Kronthaler made sure to expose the public to Westwood's controversial yet extremely influential nature, and we're all here for it.

The Glamorous Guests

And finally, we can't forget to mention the people who were invited to all these fascinating shows. Hundreds of celebrities were spotted last week in Paris, from Zendaya to Kim Kardashian to none other than Pamela Anderson, who went make-up-free because she didn't want to “compete with the clothes.”

That's a wrap on Paris Fashion Week 2023!
