Eventually, Banksy expanded his work and left graffiti art in public places all over the world. His art is easily recognizable and thought-provoking; he often delivers political messages in his works.

Luc Tuymans is one of the most important painters today, as he creates distinctive pieces that hold ambiguous meanings. Unlike today's saturated world, Luc Tuymans chooses to work with a muted palette.

Television and photography inspire many of his works. He takes an image and recontextualizes it into a blurred picture, where he removes any clarifying narrative elements. His pieces look as if they’re faded memories. His art carries much meaning; it’s worth visiting the David Zwirner Gallery to see his work up close.
