OG Angels, Oh How We've Missed You

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is back and better than ever. The original angels look absolutely fabulous, bringing back that authentic Victoria's Secret look. With big, luxurious wings paired with to-die-for lingerie, this show brought back nostalgia for its earlier 2000s shows.

This year, some fallen angels didn't return for this season’s show, but we still have 10 veteran angels to cover, so buckle up!

Let's break down each look, starting with the one and only Adriana Lima. Lima had two looks this year and closed her 21st Victoria's Secret show with the second one. The first look was part of the Spirit Awakening segment, featuring the lace, strappy triangle peekaboo teddy, a gorgeous green lingerie set. Underneath, she wore the green wicked unlined lace balconette bra and lace Brazilian panty. With this set, she wore a pink floral wing arrangement that added spring elegance. She also wore green open-toe satin heels to tie the look together.

As for her second look, to close the show with a bang in the Winter Melody segment, she wore the most heavenly white lace silhouette that consisted of the cotton shine patch unlined high-neck bralette, the logo cotton shine patch 90s brief panty, a runway exclusive white bedazzled lingerie set underneath, an extravagant bedazzled skirt, diamond open-toe heels, and to top it off, huge diamond lace wings.

Our next OG is, of course, Candice Swanepoel. This angel had three looks this year, and her first was also part of the Spirit Awakening segment. For this look, she also wore the lace strappy triangle peekaboo teddy in a beautiful light pink color. Underneath, she wore the lace bikini panty, and the smooth & lace lightly lined demi bra. For accessories, no wings for this diva, but instead a flowy pink shawl that extended out as she walked. She also had these gorgeous headpieces resembling flowers and dripping crystals. On her arms, she wore fabulous gloves that extended to her mid-bicep, embellished with more flowers and crystals. Lastly, she wore clear latex heels.

Her next look was a simple feature during the Summer Fever segment. She wore a gold two-piece with asymmetric shapes draped over her body. Underneath, she wore the smooth push up bra and the shine strap thong panty. Once again, no wings for our girl, but she wore huge gold bangles and teal circle earrings. For shoes, she completed the look with a gold open-toe heel.

Her final look also came during the Winter Melody segment, and she was covered in huge diamonds from head to toe. She wore the frosted satin-embellished bralette over the iconic bombshell bra underneath. Stylists paired this with the new rhinestone shine strap thong panty. Over top, she wore a dangling diamond skirt and matching bodice along with diamond open-toe heels. Finally, our veteran angel got some wings. Swanepoel wore huge diamond wings that elevated her final look.

Next up, Alessandra Ambrosio, a personal favorite of mine. Ambrosio had two looks this season for her 20th show. The first was in the Spirit Awakening segment, featuring a spectacular open ruffle skirt and a long train instead of wings. It featured the iconic Victoria's Secret pink and light pink stripes. She wore the shine-strap dot push-up bra and its matching counterpart, the shine-strap dot thong panty. Over top, she wore a pink diamond-crusted bralette. She also wore pink satin open-toe heels and the new pavé shine-logo chandelier earrings.

Her second look appeared during the Winter Melody segment; she wore the lace shine logo lightly lined balconette and its matching runway-exclusive boy shorts. On top, she wore the crystal-shine babydoll body jewelry. For shoes, she wore diamond open-toe strappy heels. Our queen got wings for this look, and calling them outstanding is an understatement. Her wings were entirely made of silver streamers that flowed flawlessly as she strutted.

Our fourth angel is Liu Wen. Wen made an impact with one look this year. It was during the Winter Melody segment. She wore a stunning white fur shawl. With it, she wore the cotton shine patch unlined high-neck bralette and the no-show thong panty. On top, she wore the diamanté logo body jewelry as well as the crystal shine halter body jewelry. She also had on a crystal pant silhouette.

Next we have Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She has two looks this season: one in the Winter Reprise segment and another in the Winter Melody segment. Her first look opened the segment as she came down the runway in the gorgeous, wicked unlined lace balconette bra and matching lace bikini panty. Over top, she wore the crystal shine halter body jewelry and a runway-exclusive crystal skirt, the lace garter belt, as well as the pavé shine logo chandelier earrings. She also had a pair of feathered wings to complete the look.

Her second look was during the Winter Melody segment, and she wore the push-up lace teddy lingerie set. Underneath, she wore the sheer shine strap garter thigh-highs, the lace thong panty. Instead of wings, she wore a beautiful fur coat with crystal accents. Finally, for shoes she wore a silver open-toe heel.

Now, we have Doutzen Kroes. Kroes had two looks this year, the first closing the Spirit Awakening segment. Although her entire look unfortunately is not available for purchase, who would I be if I didn’t give you the details?

This look was a pink crystal and diamond two piece set, a corsetted top and gorgeous matching skirt. Underneath the top she wore the wicked unlined lace balconette bra. She is also wearing the pavé logo chandelier earrings. Her wings were absolutely incredible, being made entirely of floral like fabrics to completely embody a flower. of course she wore a silver metallic shoe, not to draw attention, but to enhance the look.

Her second look was during the Winter Melody. She wore a sheer babydoll dress with feathers at the hem, over the FlexFactor lightly lined plunge demi bra and no-show thong panty. She wore runway-exclusive body jewelry, the pavé shine logo dangle earrings, and a clear open-toe heel.

Our seventh veteran is Behati Prinsloo. She had two looks this season, and like her angel sisters, they were superb. She first appeared during the Summer Forever segment, wearing the rose lace, unlined Shine Strappy Teddy in a runway-exclusive color. On top of it, she layered the sexy tee smooth lacie push-up bra, wicked unlined lace balconette bra, lace bikini panty, and the lace ultra mini-scoop thong panty. She finished the look with gorgeous pink-and-blue metallic wings and gold open-toe heels.

Her second look came during the Fantasy Bra Returns segment, and she wore an all-diamond slip dress. Underneath, she wore the very sexy shine fantasy bra and matchine shine thong panty. No wings for this look, but she wore pavé shine logo chandelier earrings, crystal shine garter-belt body jewelry, and diamond open-toe heels.

Our ninth angel is, of course, Elsa Hosk. Hosk had two looks this season. Her first was in the Spirit Awakening segment, wearing the push-up lace teddy under a runway-exclusive pink corset with flowy puff sleeves. To finish, she wore pink satin open-toe heels.

Her second look stole the show. Hosk had the honor of walking with the biggest wings of the night, a whopping 70 inches tall and weighing 50 lbs. She debuted these wings during the Autumn Changes segment. Stylists paired these glamorous wings with a runway-exclusive gold corset top and layered the lace bikini panty with the lace thong panty. As for shoes, she wore these amazing gold open-toe heels.

Last but certainly not least, our tenth angel is Barbara Palvin. She came to the show after giving birth to her daughter with her husband, Dylan Sprouse, and wore two looks this year, devouring both effortlessly. Palvin’s first look was in the Vintage Victoria segment and, unfortunately, didn't feature wings; however, she rocked a runway-exclusive pink slip lingerie dress, with a Vintage Victoria unlined balconette bra and matching bow-back thong panty underneath. For shoes, she completed this simple but authentic look with a closed-toe pink crystal tassel heel.

For her second look during the Winter Melody segment, she wore a runway-exclusive corset and panty set made from pearls, diamonds, and crystals to mimic snow. She also wore feathered, diamond-crusted wings that mimicked snowflakes.

Unfortunately, we missed a good number of angels this year who weren’t invited back to walk in this season's show, like Gisele Bündchen and Heidi Klum. Hopefully we'll see our fallen angels resurrected in next year's show, wearing bigger, even better wings.
