5 Color Palettes to Inspire Your Spring Wardrobe

This past weekend brought the Northeast out of hibernation, with 70 degree temperatures and clear skies. Spring is in the air.  With this, we are leaving behind our dark fall schemes and winter blues and moving on to our summer color palettes.

Spring is all about pastels, from Easter blues and pinks to start-of-summer yellows. Dig your light green sweaters out from behind your black puffers and breathe color back into your outfits.

2. Boho browns

Although browns may typically be regarded as an autumn color, these hues can make for a fun and 70s-esque boho spring. Mocha colors, creams, lace, fringe, and beading are all in trend. Channel these grounded tones just in time for Earth Day!

3. Dreamy Lavenders

A staple for a whimsical spring is violet and lavender tones! Mix these shades with bright whites and silver jewelry to channel your inner fairy. These shades go perfectly with lace and floral patterns. This color is the sister of a wintery frost blue– a great transition color as we make our way into summer.

4. Mauve and gold

We all know pink and brown—the classic Y2K color pairing that reclaimed the spotlight in 2025—but what about its close relative, mauve and gold? This combination is popular in the wedding scene. Romantic mauve and luxurious gold make for a sophisticated and versatile look. Add these colors to your spring palette and channel a vintage-like, boho feel.

5. Lakeside Blues

As the weather starts to warm up and we begin to get back on the water, it’s time to bring in nautical elements to our palettes. Light and dark wash denims paired with white and navy, silver jewelry, and blue hydrangeas—the epitome of a New England, lakeside aesthetic.
