Though her death has devastated the world as a whole, it is important to acknowledge all of the good Queen Elizabeth II did throughout her 70-year reign.

She did extraordinary work as the Head of The Commonwealth which is an “association of 56 countries working towards shared goals of prosperity, democracy, and peace.”

The association calls her the “epitome of duty, stability, wisdom, and grace,” in a tribute on their website.

Not only did her Majesty make several political gains throughout her reign, but she was also highly respected for her ethical nature.

“Her Majesty continues to carry out a full programme of engagements,” as per The Royal Families website, “from visits to charities and schools, to hosting visiting Heads of State, to leading the nation in Remembrance and celebratory events.”

Giving back to those in need is something Queen Elizabeth II felt very strongly about. She had shown her support for over 600 charities throughout her reign as Queen.
